it seems that every time you call to schedule and appointment with a doctor there is no available appointments they call center tells you 3 months wait to get an appointment which is ridiculous even if you are a priority case like cancer asthma diabetes which is crazy no one there seems to know what is going on and what is happening to all the doctors some centers are running on 2 doctors and nurses when you request a doctor they tell you to come and see the nurse on staff because there is no appointments with the doctors for three months. im sorry but im paying for my insurance and i think i should have the opportunity to get appointment in a timely fashion based on the severity of my sickness.

that's not happening with these people and no one cares about the patients. the doctors tell us the lab is a first come first serve we are told when we get there that you need an appointment especially at the ben landers center who makes these rules up and why are they different from what a patient is told from when you arrive there.

Your remarks are astonishing but sounded very familiar. Last week my mother told me of a similar situation where she went to her local AdvantageCare facility because she was feeling "woozy" only to be told that she would have to wait to be seen by a physician until all other patients had been seen.

It seems that the procedure is that you have to have an appointment to be seen at the urgent care room within Advantage Care. My mother was advised that there was only one physician available. The person who related this information to my mother told her that she would call another AdvantageCare facility relatively close by however the caveat was that the physician at that particular facility "may be able" to see her. At hearing this pronouncement, my mother then opted to sashay herself to the emergency room at the hospital here in our area.

I would like to suggest to you that you write a letter to Karen Ignagni, President and CEO of EmblemHealth.

The Corporate Headquarters address is 55 Water Street, New York, NY 10041. Perhaps if she were to read some of the feedback in which patients have taken the time and energy to document and send to her, it might may some difference. It’s for certain though that if issues are not brought to her attention by the consumer of health care services at EmblemHealth and they opt to go elsewhere for their health care services, it will affect the bottom line ($$$) at EH.

Let's hope that Ms. Ignagni respects constructive criticism and takes this situation under advisement and addresses these issues.
